First-Round Release Date for Ninth Grade
GoCPS results for students applying to ninth grade for the first round will be released on Friday, April 30, 2021, between 5:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. CST. All applicants will receive their results via their online GoCPS account. An online GoCPS account will be created for paper applicants using the email address or phone number on the paper application; information will be emailed to paper applicants to assist them in accessing their online accounts. During the week of April 26th, all applicants will receive instructions via email on how to access their results.
Additional Timeline Dates
When additional dates on the GoCPS timeline have been finalized, these will be posted on the GoCPS calendar. Finally, the additional dates will be sent to subscribers to the GoCPS mailing list, so please make sure that you are signed up for the mailing list at go.cps.edu/contact. The additional dates on the timeline will include, but not be limited to, the deadline for accepting or declining offers, the application dates for Principal Discretion, the start date for the waitlist process, and the application dates for the second round.
January NWEA MAP Scores
NWEA MAP scores for CPS students who tested in January will be emailed to the email address on the account by the end of March. If students score higher on the January exam than in previous test administrations, those scores will appear on the GoCPS accounts by the end of March as well.
Selective Enrollment HS Scores
Selective Enrollment admissions exam scores for students who tested in November were emailed to those families in February. Selective Enrollment scores for students who tested on all other dates will be posted to the GoCPS accounts on April 30th, with the GoCPS application results.
